Damned cedar is accused of destructioncars

In the English city of Caterham, Surrey you can find
luxurious branched cedar, which is more than a quarter old
millennia. True, a beautiful tree growing on one of
central streets considered to be damned. Locals especially
the older generation believe that under this cedar is not even worth
pass and even more so stop or talk. it
considered among superstitious citizens a very bad omen promising
misfortune

A popular urban legend says that for about two hundred years
back on these branches hung a witch. Executed Englishwoman, they say, in
actually was a witch, but in her life she did not harm
countrymen and even as much as she helped them. Before dying a woman like
believed to have cursed this place and promised trouble to anyone who
close to her hanging tree. Ominous halo also surrounds
plant thanks to a nearby house, which is considered inhabited
unclean. Within the walls of this structure, ghosts were repeatedly seen.
a little girl and a thin man in a Victorian top hat.

New “tricks” cursed cedar

The other day, residents of Caterham once again remembered the bad
glory of the age-old cedar, when in its immediate vicinity
for no reason at all the car caught fire. To the scene
firefighters quickly arrived, but there was nothing to extinguish: from
cars остался лишь обгоревший остов. Cause of fire
vehicle so far and not figured out. Old ladies
living in nearby houses, argue that all the fault is
damn cedar, however make such a version of the official tamers
fire can not, because on paper it will look at least
least funny. But the paranormal glory of the tree was even stronger
enshrined among the townspeople.

Many inhabitants of the area are afraid to take pictures of cedar and try
bypass it by. If you go to the opposite side
roads are not possible, the British pass under
sprawling branches silently, without raising their eyes, and sometimes not even
breathing. One of the local residents assures that once passed under
a tree, and someone invisible from above burst into a curse. BUT
employees of a construction company nearby say that
periodically see from the windows of his office ghostly monk and
nun appearing under the cedar at sunset.

That’s interesting, and why the townspeople tolerate this damned tree,
can’t it be cut down and put something more on this place
light, for example, chestnut? Is it just because uprooting
healthy age-old cedar is difficult to explain in terms of sound
sense? ..
