According to the Xinhua News Agency, the docking of the Chinese manned spacecraft Shenzhou-11 with the orbiting space laboratory Tiangong-2 (Sky Palace-2) has been successfully completed. At the moment, the crew members have moved to the territory of the module.

Mission Commander Jing Haipeng and his companion Chen Dong have already checked the systems of the comic complex consisting of the Tiangong-2 laboratory station and the Shenzhou-11 spacecraft. It is noteworthy that for Jing Haipeng this is already the third space flight, and for Chen Dong – the first.

The task of the crew is to conduct medical, scientific and other experiments. In total, the mission in orbit will last 33 days, 30 of which the cosmonauts will spend aboard Tiangong-2. Upon completion of the mission, the Shenzhou-11 spacecraft will undock from the laboratory, and within 24 hours it will return to Earth.

Recall that the launch of the manned spacecraft Shenzhou 11 (Holy Shuttle 11) with two crew members on board was carried out by the Chinese launch vehicle Changzheng 2F (Long March 2F) on Monday at 7.30 ( 2.30 Moscow time) from the Jiuquan cosmodrome (Gobi Desert).
