Americans send another probe to the moon

A new American probe, LADEE, is scheduled to be dispatched on September 7th, which is tasked with studying lunar dust and the atmosphere. The launch will take place at about 7 am Moscow time. Live streaming will be available on the official NASA website.

The probe will study the very thin atmosphere of the Moon, which is similar to the asteroid atmosphere. The task is also set to determine the source of the glow on the lunar horizon, which was noticed by astronauts during their stay on it. In addition, the probe is equipped with a new laser communication system with the Earth, which will provide data transfer rates at a higher speed.
