If the aliens 'call', who will be the first to say 'Hello'?

The existence of aliens and whether they will pose a threat to humanity are some of the few questions that constantly keep in the minds of hundreds of scientists and thousands of ordinary people.

Astronomers and planetary scientists around the world have selected and will continue to select the keys to the search for extraterrestrial life until they either find an alien civilization or confirm that aliens are nothing more than a hoax. Regardless of the outcome, people must be prepared to face the outcome.

Despite the fact that most theories of the existence of aliens are limited to science fiction and films, nevertheless experts do not hide the importance of real research in this direction. At least since 1961, attempts have been made to solve this puzzle in a mathematical way. We are talking about the 'Drake Equation', which later became the template for calculating the habitability of the universe.

The equation is based on seven variables, which represent various cosmological factors associated with star formation. And although research is still ongoing, there are currently no other underlying concepts that can reject these variables and calculate the likelihood of aliens. Nevertheless, some scientists, especially ufologists, are extremely optimistic and confident that in the near future the equation will be solved and a person will know for sure if there is alien life or not.

In the event that this happens, then the next question arises: 'Are we ready for this?'

Most of the experts on this topic believe they are not ready. Their arguments are based on the fact that almost seventy percent of the planet's population presents aliens as strange creatures arriving from space, wanting to take over our planet and enslave or destroy humanity. Thus, for most people, contact with aliens suggests a probable invasion.

The second most important question related to the existence of aliens: “Who should you believe?”

Countless alien hypotheses arise every day. Some of them are logical and based on scientific facts, while others are completely irrational collection of fictional stories. Be that as it may, scientists are confident that as soon as reliable information on this issue appears in any country, it will be published by space agencies NASA, ESA, Roskosmos and others, and will also receive final confirmation from the UN Secretary General.
