In the near future, robots will occupy about 30% of jobs

Artificial intelligence (AI) could revolutionize the use of the world's workforce in the coming years. This is indicated by one of the latest studies.

Machines have been changing our lives at an increasingly faster rate since the beginning of the industrial revolution. But the deepest revolution is about to occur in human labor, and all this is due to the exponential influence of artificial intelligence.

The robotic revolution is already happening in many sectors, so scientists are firmly convinced that soon robots will soon be able to do most of the work that was previously owned by humans. The fact is that AI is no longer a subject of science fiction, it exists in the world and helps us perform more everyday tasks than we even realize or think.

Electrical experts from RS Components commissioned an exclusive study, according to which more than 30% of jobs, for example in the UK, are at risk due to advances in advanced artificial intelligence technologies.

With pioneering advances in technology, many jobs that were initially considered unsuitable for automation are suddenly threatened.

Employers are increasingly drawn to the role robots can play due to the growing need for fewer people in the workplace, as well as the coronavirus pandemic.

RS Components used data from the Office for National Statistics and PricewaterhouseCoopers to determine how many jobs in each sector could be occupied by robots by 2030 in just ten years.

It turned out that people working in the catering sector are most at risk of being replaced by robots. This shocking study shows that 54 percent of jobs in the industry could soon be at risk. This is proved by the terminals already existing at the moment, which allow you to place and pay for the order without communicating with the cashier.

These tools range from online food ordering applications to completely new technologies for ordering food at the table without human intervention. And eateries have gone even further, such as the Boston restaurant Spyce, which has already replaced human chefs with robotic chefs.

Manufacturing is another industry that robots are expected to take over. The poll warns that 45% of jobs in this industry are also at risk. This is because repetitive manual labor and routine tasks can be easily simulated using stationary machines, saving the employer time and money.

Other industries that could be hit in the next decade include construction, wholesale and retail trade, and residential construction and real estate management. In addition, employees of the legal profession, who provide advice, are also at risk – this is about 24% of jobs.
