The cargo ship was to be launched today. However, just an hour before the scheduled launch time, the Japanese agency announced that it was canceling the launch of the aircraft. This news shocked many specialists, since this ship was supposed to send cargo to the International Space Station, which astronauts need for life.
At the moment, it is not known for certain exactly why the agency took such measures. Recall that the Japanese were originally supposed to send this ship five days ago. However, this time the plans were spoiled by weather conditions, in particular strong gusts and typhoons that formed near the launch site in southern Japan. After a detailed study of the weather forecast, experts named several so-called windows, during which a cargo ship can be launched. However, today's flight was canceled.
Note that after the ship leaves for space, it will take almost three more days to reach its destination. It will carry cargo for the six members of the ISS crew. In addition, the Japanese must send batteries into space, which astronauts will install on the outside of the station, going out into outer space.
