Japanese HTV-7 still went to the ISS

Two days ago, a Japanese cargo ship, codenamed HTV-7, did leave for the International Space Station. As expected, the start was made from the center of Tanegashima. This time there were no funny situations.

The ship was loaded up to five tons. It carries vital cargo, including food, fuel, specialized equipment, as well as batteries that the astronauts will have to install on board the ISS.

Note that initially the launch of this unit into space was planned to be held two weeks ago. However, due to difficult weather conditions, the start was postponed twice. Now, if all goes according to plan, the spacecraft will reach the ISS early Thursday morning.

Recall that this ship is the seventh in its mission, and the first was sent almost ten years ago. All this time, the project managers have been improving the system for robotic delivery of cargo to the space station. Like its predecessors, HTV-7 is not intended to return to our planet. After his mission is over, the ship will burn up in the atmosphere.
