The conference, which starts today at 21:00, will focus on exoplanets – planets that orbit their stars outside the solar system. The event will be broadcast live on television and on the NASA website.
The details of the findings were embargoed by Nature magazine prior to the press conference. The media and the public can also ask questions during their Twitter briefing using the #askNASA hashtag.
