According to reports from the NASA space agency, a hole formed on the surface of the Sun is nothing more than a collection of gas that does not allow light to pass through. It is this phenomenon that creates the appearance of a huge dark spot in space.
Despite the fact that similar incidents were observed earlier, this time these processes became visible at all poles of the Earth. Scientists noted that the hole appeared on the Sun in just a few minutes and is currently gradually decreasing in size.
Researchers are confident that earthlings should not be particularly worried about the 'coming end' of the Sun. A similar phenomenon occurs in space every few years, but it poses no danger to Earth.
