Task solved: astronauts will no longer have vision problems

One of the scientists at the American University in Florida reported that he had identified an algorithm that would solve the problem of many astronauts regarding vision changes. The expert noted that he had been working on this issue for several months and finally received the expected result.

So, the curator of the project, together with like-minded people, set up experiments on laboratory rodents that were in open space for a long time. As it turned out, as a result of the space flight, the blood vessels, which oxygenate the eyeballs and are of great importance in the formation of intraocular pressure, were damaged during the trip. In addition, significant changes have been found in proteins that are critical to the sense of touch. Roughly the same thing happens with astronauts.

Recall that about sixty percent of astronauts who are on the ISS for a long time, arriving on Earth, complain of a significant deterioration in vision. Some have improved their eyesight over time, and some have not. That is why it is so important to reveal the cause of these ailments. The only way out of the situation, according to the author of the study, is the need to create gravity on board the ship, close to Earth. This will not completely protect astronauts from vision problems, however, it will definitely rule out the worst outcome.
