A green bird was filmed on Mars

The other day, the American space agency NASA has prepared high-quality panorama with the ability to study rocks in detail Red planet. The panorama published on the agency’s website was composed of 900 images with a total “mass” of 1.3 billion billion pixels.

Pictures were taken by Curiosity rover from October 5 to 16 November 2012 Rover shot using three cameras in the area Rocknest at the bottom of Gale Crater, where he collects dust samples and stones.

When approaching the photo you can see “shiny objects”, as they are signed in the panorama, “a rectangle carved in stone,” and even “Martian bird in flight.” “Definitely, it’s weird. But looks like a bird in flight, “the signature says.

And the bird is green. Parrot on Mars?

Curiosity rover landed on the surface of Mars 6 August 2012 10 scientific tools designed for detailed geological and geochemical research, studying the atmosphere and climate of the planet, search for water and its traces, organic substances. Tools called determine if Mars was once livable and whether on there are places suitable for living now.

Meanwhile, British planetologists have determined that billions years ago there was no less oxygen on the Red Planet than on The earth.

Planetologists have studied the ancient rocks of the Martian crater Gusev, collected Spirit rover. Having determined the fraction of oxides and sulfur, they concluded that their number exceeds what contains meteorites of the same origin as them.

This surprised the researchers, as meteorites formed much later rocks on the Red Planet. If analyzed minerals were about 3.7 billion years ago, then meteorites – 180-1400 million years. This prompted planetologists to think that that rocks absorbed oxygen during contact with Mars billions of years ago.
