Famous inventor Andreas Hein with his colleagues team of “space travelers” realizes moment a very interesting project: his team of scientists is developing miniature ship capable of reaching the planet – Proxima Centauri.
As soon as this exoplanet was discovered last year, it is here it attracted the attention of many scientists working in the field of space and space research. And this is not surprising, since Proxima Centauri is in the habitable zone, theoretically, it may well be water, oxygen, and therefore biological life, including intelligent.
Mini-probe of Andreas Hein, who has already come up with a name – “Andromeda”, can fly to a tempting planet in just several years, since before Proxima Centauri only 4 light years (some 40 trillion kilometers, as scientists joke).
But the team of Andreas Hein intends to manage such a flight with using a laser beam. True, as the leader himself explains, such a laser must accurately indicate the correct direction to the ship, because even the smallest beam shift will jeopardize the whole expedition.
According to the plan of researchers in outer space, Andromeda should stay near Proxima Centauri for six days, having managed in this short term “squeeze out of the planet” maximum information. The idea of course risky, as the project manager himself agrees. But how it says who does not risk …
