Alien bacteria discovered on the ISS

Russian astronauts made an amazing statement. They are reported that they found mysterious bacteria on the surface of the ISS, who may have flown there from space. Because before on no international space station found microorganisms, this looks especially curious. Samples alien bacteria were taken from the surface of the ISS using cotton swabs during a recent expedition of domestic explorers.

Russian test cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov says that when tampons were delivered to Earth, they found unknown bacteria. When you start the orbital station module in November 1998, any microbes on her body, of course, were absent. In other words, there is a huge chance that mysterious bacteria came from outer space, after which settled on the lining of the spacecraft. According to Anton Nikolaevich, at the moment, Russian scientists are intensively studying microorganisms.

I recall the recent science fiction film “Living”, by the plot of which on the same International Space Station it turns out to be an alien unicellular (at first glance) creature. However, later it turns out that we are talking about multicellular colonial organism. In a matter of hours, it turns into a dangerous a large creature that kills everything in its path. However, domestic researchers report that the microbes found on the ISS in reality, do not pose a threat to us.

Alien or still terrestrial bacteria?

Extraterrestrial origin of these bacteria has not yet received one hundred percent confirmation. Many foreign scientists refuse to believe that our astronauts made such a sensational find. According to skeptics from the world of science, these microorganisms must have been entered on the lining of the orbital station from our planets – for example, from a computer tablet or another “contaminated” equipment when crew members went into space.

However, even if the microbes were brought onto the ISS our “blue ball”, the find of Russian cosmonauts equally worthy of much attention. Shkaplerov and his colleagues showed that microorganisms are able to survive on the casing of the station, located in a cosmic vacuum, where the temperature varies from +121 degrees Celsius on the side lit by the Sun to -157 degrees in the shade. No matter where these bacteria come from, they’ll probably have a damn hard time, but they continue to live, which is not easy amazing, but really fantastic …
