U.S. Scientist James Benford the assumption that co-orbiting space objects, moving in the same orbit as our planet are probes of alien civilizations. Some researchers believe that this is unlikely, however, for further research, this an idea can be of value.
In 1997, the first co-orbital asteroid was discovered, and after 2010, another 15 facilities. Nearest such object (Earth’s Closest Companion – Earth’s closest companion) is located in 38 times further than the moon. According to Benford, this object is high probability may be an alien probe, since it is located close to the Earth and forms with it a stable orbital structure.
The physicist believes that for these objects it is necessary not only observe, but also attempt to contact them, sending them to side signals. Moreover, the scientist suggests sending them small research probes. If the hypothesis is with alien probes will not be confirmed, it will only confirm that the Earth is not is under someone’s scrutiny, and the probability the existence of alien life will decline.
