A new study whose purpose was to study in our The galaxy has 151 star systems discovered by the NASA Kepler telescope, demonstrates that almost every system has two or three planets that are endowed with the potential for the development of extraterrestrial forms of life.

Conditionally inhabited planets should be on “comfortable” distance from its parent star. Exactly right distance creates the conditions for the existence of liquid water on the surface of the planet, since its presence is the main condition for the origin and development of life.

The specialists carefully processed the data obtained from Kepler telescope, and then studied structural computer models those stellar systems that, in their estimation, have great chances to be inhabited.

The results show that billions of stellar systems, located in the Milky Way may have inhabited planets on which life thrives. Today, specialists are in search of star system candidates for future research, goal which is a search for a planet whose criteria coincide with characteristics of our earth.
