Unknown space object for several hours. was in the orbit of comet 67P, and after that it departed from it and simply disappeared.
During its research mission, the Rosetta space probe photographed an unidentified object that rose from the surface of a comet Churyumova-Gerasimenko. This object was noticed by scientists in the pictures. a few months after the comet passes the nearest points to the sun of its orbit on August 13, 2015.
Astronomers noted that taking off from a comet, an unidentified object another 12 hours was in its orbit. As computer showed modeling, the mysterious object was at a distance of 2.4 to 3.9 kilometers from the center of Comet 67Р. Then the object crossed the cloud dust and just disappeared.

ESA scientists found this object only at later pictures. In their opinion, this object could be held in the orbit of a comet approximately 1 month, while periodically changing your location. The main version of scientists is a fragment of the orbital garbage.
The agency reported that an unidentified object recorded in the picture, most likely, the largest of the previously discovered on comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko, and they intend to continue it further research.
Now comet 67P moves between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. Experts believe that her appearance disfigured covering ice surface.
