After a thorough study of asteroids (especially flying on days past our planet), NASA seriously started talking about the fact that, finally found a solution to one of the global problems of distant space travel, namely the provision of ships fuel.
The fact is that with such flights can not do without refueling ships. Asteroids on which there are minerals and hydrogen in huge quantities can become wonderful space gas stations for intergalactic ships. They are like specially created for these purposes.
This statement was marked on the NASA website by Don Jomans – Space Observer Program Manager. Moreover, Don Jomans expressed confidence that in the future earthlings will learn to use asteroids and for mining minerals, which are many there – imagine what wealth just flew past Earth (meaning asteroid 2004 BL86 weighing almost one hundred and sixty million tons). And although these are plans a relatively distant prospect, about them at NASA also already talked.
