Photo from open source NASA staff once said that the flight to space is not a trip to a beauty salon. This is true because travel beyond the planet leads to skin changes astronauts and, moreover, not for the better. In orbit of the epidermis human becomes thinner.
For a long time space medical workers the centers heard from astronauts that those after arriving on Earth begin to experience skin problems. Only now experts decided to carefully study this issue.
Scientists from Saarland University in Germany who have become the authors of this project, engaged in the examination of the epidermis astronauts who have recently traveled to space. Specialists inspected Alexandra Gerst, Samantha Cristoforetti and Luca Parmitano before and after departure into orbit. The reaction of human skin to this long journeys in space has been studied through various state-of-the-art technologies, for example, multiphoton tomography.
It turned out that a person leaving the planet, significantly skin morphology suffers. In orbit, the epidermis produces more collagen, so the astronaut’s skin is literally thinning. Behind six months, it can become twenty percent thinner. it reduces the ability to transport fluid between epidermis and dermis. In addition, the skin is significantly reduced the number of fat cells. Such changes in the epidermis are observed in during aging, but why does this happen to young astronauts – so far a mystery to science.

Recall: in the course of various previous studies, world scientists have found that in weightlessness a person changes shape heart, muscle mass is lost, bone density is reduced and various negative changes occur in the work of the head brain. There is an opinion of individual scientists that a person is biologically and energetically firmly connected with the Earth, at him when moving away from it unfavorable processes begin, not only in the body, but also in the mind, for example, memory deteriorates sharply. For this reason astronauts even joke that beyond the Earth, the best memory is pencil and notebook.
In the light of all these data, the question arises – are they real for man in this case, deep space flights? Maybe even on Mars flying for a person will be a big problem. Therefore quite surprising naivete wishing to fly to the Red Planet and even in as part of the dubious Mars One project, designed for residents Earth in the form of an entertainment show. However, as the Russians say, wait and see. So far no one has flown further than the moon, and this fact is still a big question, considering that from Americans it could be another hoax …
