Studying pictures of the Red Planet, an American scientist Braunovsky James Head University concluded: MRO probe (his camera HiRISE) captures clear signs of climate change on Mars.

According to the researcher, such changes can occur by the reason for the influence on the planet of its satellites Deimos and Phobos, as well as due to the inclination of the axis of the planet to the plane of its orbit.

Scientists have previously been inclined to think that on Mars, along with geological changes still occur and climate change. For example, bizarre landforms of the Red Planet could occur only because of melting underground ice or as a result evaporation of frozen carbon dioxide. True, all these ancient channels and Mars craters formed most likely two million years back.

However, new pictures and soil data collected by MRO, show later traces of erosion and destruction of the same craters, for example, the appearance of ravines here, which also covered with soil containing large amounts of water ice. Before the ongoing climate change on Mars, such thus, inspire hope that this planet is quite suitable for its development by people with subsequent colonization.
