An international group of astronomers has discovered an exoplanet that when interacting with the magnetic field of a nearby star creates powerful radio signals. Scientists report on research Science Alert.
When scanning the sky at low frequencies, the researchers found radiation, which could indicate the presence of exoplanets in red dwarf, 26 light years distant from Earth.
Near the star, astronomers discovered a planet whose mass about five times that of Earth. Alleged that speech talking about a rocky planet that makes a revolution around its star in one to five days.
The interaction of stars and planets, as scientists have specified, gives rise to circular polarized radio emission, which at low frequencies may have more power.
