The European Southern Observatory is in the spotlight today – its astronomers have discovered a cometary globule – a CG4 object that received and the second name – “God’s hand.” It is located from Earth on a distance of almost a thousand three hundred light-years – in the constellation Stern.
Similar globules, according to researchers, have been studied quite well, however, how stars form in these cosmic formations, remains a mystery.
The dark spots that are observed in globules are dust accumulation and gas blocking the light of the stars themselves. As this narrows space “garbage”, new, hitherto unknown to us appear stars
The cometary globules themselves, according to experts, arise in the process of interaction and interpenetration of hot stellar winds and ultraviolet rays, red color at the same time demonstrates the reaction of photons of stars and hydrogen.
As for bizarre forms, like the present “God’s hand”, scientists explain, then such cosmic figures arise due to supernova explosions. In search of new discoveries, scientists discovered the abode of God that looks like a giant city floating in space.
