Repeating at high frequency radio bursts recorded scientists from China. Signals come from a source located from the Earth at a distance of about 3 billion light years.
These signals were received at the largest in the world. a radio telescope having a five-hundred-meter aperture. Signals were carefully crafted and studied – reported by Chinese astronomers Academy of Sciences of China.
Fixed radio bursts (radio pulses) have a duration a few milliseconds. Scientists do not understand the nature their occurrence.
FAST telescope with a five hundred meter aperture is located in the mountains Guizhou Province. It was put into operation on September 25, 2016. to observe space too far from Earth objects.
