Curious Pictures of Martian Polar Ice (South Pole) made public by NASA. It’s funny that they look like a smiling face – the well-known emoticon! Only the diameter of this “emoticon” is about 500 meters.
This image was obtained using the Mars apparatus. Reconnaissance Orbiter, which has been operating since 2006 Martian orbit.
Astronomers believe that such an interesting image turned out in the result of the reaction of carbon and dioxide. This compound is often leads to the formation of a bizarre-looking image.
Truly there are no number of miracles and surprises that brings us Mysterious Universe! And if we assume that even the thickest coffee spreads “with meaning”, which is why they have been guessing on it for so many years, then perhaps the “emoticon” on the red planet carries some kind of hidden but specific information. Or maybe Mars this way just smiles at earthlings? ..
