Anheuser-Busch is the largest in America and the second largest in world brewing company – decided to expand the market and produce its products … on Mars.
Of course, with the current development of space technology, this is still pure fantasy, but Americans really want to so that the famous (for someone – sadly) Budweiser becomes the first delirium of beer, which earth colonists will taste on the Red Planet. This was announced by representatives of the corporation at the beginning of this year. Now, the brewers have begun to take their first steps towards achieve your goal.
The Americans intend to soon send to the International space station barley seeds so that scientists germinate them on orbit, and then returned back to Earth. This will allow brewers determine how much more malt will be more difficult to produce the borders of our planet. SpaceX mission to deliver cargo to the ISS which will include these seeds, will be held as early as next Monday, December 4th. Grains will be placed in two special cubic laboratories – in these stand-alone modules barley will sprout, and earthly experts will subsequently analyze, how much has the chemical composition of the cereal changed under Martian conditions microgravity.
