In the next five years, the domestic space market will be private enterprises allowed. This was stated by Dmitry Rogozin – Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
Speaking at a forum attended by Russian technology innovation, the official said that by 2020 will be formed effective system that will allow authorities to maintain Russian private space companies, and, in fact, use the services of these companies.
Dmitry Olegovich also noted that President Vladimir Putin should soon hear the report of the Federal Space Agency relating to the plans of Roscosmos for the next ten years. IN this report, among other things, will highlight the main agency priorities regarding cooperation with private domestic companies contributing to the study and development of space.
Currently, the Russian space services market includes itself only state-owned enterprises. In other cosmic Powers, particularly in the United States, in a study extraterrestrial space actively involved private firms. For instance, in America, such commercial participants are the manufacturer aviation, military and space technology “The Boeing Company”, and also a manufacturer of space rockets “SpaceX”. These firms directly participate in the American space program right up to the rendering missile launch services. Domestic officials felt that the time has come and in our country to carry out space flights with support of commercial companies.
Last year, NASA chose The Boeing Company and “SpaceX” for the construction of manned spacecraft “Dragon V2” and “Starliner”. Having done such work, “Boeing”, for example, earned four billion two hundred million dollars, and SpaceX two billion six hundred million. Interestingly, “SpaceX” has own fleet of launch vehicles called Falcon. They are used to bring about Earth orbit American satellites and spaceships.
