As we already reported, on the Russian spacecraft Soyuz MS-09, “docked to the ISS, suddenly happened in late August air leak, as it turned out, due to microcracks, which the first was discovered by the German astronaut Alexander Gerst.
Specialists from Roskosmos conducted a thorough investigation and analysis of the causes of the incident and came to a disappointing conclusion: the lining of the Soyuz MS-09 was specially drilled by someone from the crew International Space Station. The hole in the casing is clearly already made in space, this is indicated by a number of points near it, very characteristic for operation of a drill in an airless space where there is no emphasis for the one who is drilling.
The commission concluded, as writes, for example, the publication Kommersant, citing information from Roskosmos that only American astronauts were interested in this sabotage and their leadership. This was done in order to provoke early sending the Soyuz MS-09 to Earth, which, thanks to this, could capture a sick crew member from the USA. Otherwise Americans would have to (in case of emergency medical care with Earth, which they were very worried about) pay for shipping to station of a separate ship. Moreover, to make a hole in the skin it was technically easy for the US astronauts to ship: the Soyuz docked to American part of the ISS.
NASA executives, having decided on such a provocation, say Russian experts most likely hoped that the “Union MS-09 “due to the accident urgently evacuates the entire ISS, and when Entrance into the Earth’s atmosphere, damaged lining together with household the compartment would simply burn out – and everything, as they say, is sewn-covered. TO dissatisfaction with NASA leadership, damage to the ship was noticed and promptly eliminated on time. Prove and blame it’s very difficult for someone personally and specifically in this situation, however, this incident once again shows that with the Americans you can’t cooperate either on Earth, much less in space – this just dangerous …
