During the period of tests between “Progress” and ISS scientists will try to convey certain information using laser beam. This method of information transfer considered innovative enough for domestic science.
According to the official information provided on the official Roscosmos Institute website, about 30 communication sessions planned between devices located at a distance of 10 to 4 thousand kilometers. The time allotted for the experiment will be 10-15 hours.
If Roscosmos succeeds in implementing this project, then it will entail a real revolution in satellite building.
