The Hubble Orbital Telescope has transmitted a galaxy image to Earth. UGC 695, located in the constellation Cetus at a distance of 30 million light years from our planet.

According to scientists who published the data on Observatory site, this galaxy contains a huge amount of dark matter.

UGC 695 is a galaxy with a low surface brightness. Due to the fact that galaxies of this type have a low brightness, for they are incredibly difficult to observe. More stars scattered in space, the galaxy is dimmer. In this case, a large part of the matter is concentrated in clouds of dust and gas.

The Hubble Orbital Telescope was commissioned on April 24. 1990, the American crew of the Discovery ship. Since then this orbiting observatory transmitted a huge number of unique shots. Scientists consider it one of the most effective tools in the history of space exploration.

Previously, American scientists hypothesized that developed civilizations move stars across the universe.
