NASA scientists have determined that on Titan (satellite of Saturn) before explosions of incredible power occurred, as a result of which strange geological structures formed.
These formations were detected by the Cassini probe as part of mission lasting from 1997 to 2018. Scientists believe that millions of years ago on the surface of Titan there was liquid nitrogen. Over time, the satellite’s atmosphere increased amount of methane, which ultimately led to warming and heating nitrogen. The accumulation of explosive gas growing in volumes led to powerful emissions and the formation of craters.
