Astronomers recorded a sound, emitting two merging into one black holes. Reported by Science Alert.
According to scientists, black holes do not spread throughout the universe sound, but gravitational waves that “sound” a chord. If guided by Einstein’s theory of relativity then in these sounds contain all the information about the characteristics of a black hole, its mass and torque.
Astronomers previously believed that these tones are so faint that it is simply impossible to detect them, but they nevertheless succeeded.
In 2015, scientists analyzed the signal from the merger of blacks. holes, and they revealed two notes in the chord that “talked” about the mass and the rotation of the black hole.
When translating gravitational waves into sound waves, a black hole has next sound.
Scientists do not hide their joy in such an unusual way they were able to confirm the correctness of the general theory relativity.
ESOREITER previously wrote about the theory of scientists who believe that in the center of the earth is a black hole.
