In recent years, more and more futuristic ideas have been put forward by colonization of Mars.

Experts from all over the world are racking their brains over how a person could live comfortably on the Red Planet, grow plants (“and apple trees will bloom on Mars”) and animals children and do research. One of the most significant problems, of course, is the absence of Mars the oxygen we breathe. Obviously, take it enough amount from Earth is not an option.

US scientists unexpectedly find a potential solution to this a question. In their view, with such a daunting task, probably can handle the deep-sea cyanobacteria that live in the World the ocean. Thanks to the process of photosynthesis, they are theoretically capable of extreme conditions for humans to absorb carbon dioxide, releasing oxygen. The so-called blue-green algae is amazing tenacious: they are found in Antarctica, in the incredibly hot Valley Deaths and even on the outer skin of the International Space station.

Elmars Krausz, one of the authors of the study, says:

It may sound to many of us as pure science fiction however large space agencies and some private companies are now interested in put our idea into practice. In theory, photosynthesis of bacteria really capable of starting production on mars oxygen.

In this case, no one yet knows how these microorganisms will lead yourself on Mars. That’s why the paramount concern, facing the Earth’s space community today is becoming “colonization” of the Red Planet with cyanobacteria, and only then – by man …
