By NASA order by American scientists from the University of Florida PAMSS designed to search for extraterrestrial life and study of the atmosphere of various planets.

Tomorrow, March 8, the first test is planned apparatus for durability. PAMSS will launch in the upper atmospheric layers Earth (32 km from its surface), unless, of course, weather conditions do not hinder this experiment.

The new device weighs only 10 kilograms, while it can “feel” even an ultra-low concentration of gas. Besides performing search functions, the device, as scientists hope, help reveal how Venus’s atmosphere became gigantic in a greenhouse.

Experts from Florida have been working on creating small appliances with which you can reliably and relatively cheap to measure the level of various gases in the atmosphere planets.
