Spiral galaxy from the constellation Golden Fish

A photo from open sources

Hubble’s new image shows NGC 1566 , the most beautiful galaxy from the constellation Golden Fish located approximately 40 million light years from us. NGC 1566is an intermediate spiral galaxy, which means that although its center does not have a jumper of clear-shaped stars, which observed in crossed spiral galaxies, it still cannot be considered an open (uncrossed) spiral galaxy. In the picture the small but exceptionally bright core of NGC 1566 stands out, which indicates its obvious belonging to the Seyfert class galaxies. The centers of these galaxies are extremely bright and active, they emit strong bursts of radiation and potentially contain supermassive black holes exceeding many millions of times mass of the sun. Spiral galaxy from the constellation Golden FishPhotos from open Sources According to luminosity, NGC 1566 is the second of known Seyfert type galaxies. Besides this, she is the dominant and brightest member of the Golden Fish Group (Dorado Group), the free association of galaxies that make up one of densely populated and largest galactic groups of the southern hemisphere. This image emphasizes the beauty and striking essence of this unique galactic group, presenting the shining galaxy NGC 1566 with a bright core framed by symmetrical spiral arms the colors of lavender.
