Starliner went into orbit Friday December 20 at unmanned mode, but due to a malfunction in the calculation system flight time, it was decided to cancel the docking of the ship with space station and return it to Earth. As reported in NASA, the spacecraft could not enter the required orbit, and then the necessary change commands were sent to him from Earth flight paths. But it was too late since the ship spent too much fuel.
Starliner had to dock to the ISS and be in orbit for a week, and then return to Earth.
By mid-2020, scientists planned to make the first manned spacecraft flight to the ISS, but due to failure with docked launch dates are likely to be revised.
