Amazing photographs of our universe taken amateur astrophotographers. Introducing a series of photos, winners at the fourth annual competition Astrophotographer of the Year (Astronomy Photographer of the Year). Winners have been announced yesterday the Royal Observatory. Interesting, that a huge number of applications were processed this year. 
Photos from open sources The absolute winner was Martin Pugh from Australia. He introduced an excellent shot of the M51, Galaxy Whirlpool. Dr. Marek Kukula, passing his impressions of the winner’s photo, noted that the picture was taken in exceptionally good atmospheric conditions, which allowed clear convey every detail of the image of this amazing galaxy. Patrick Moore (PATRICK MOORE), one of the judges of the competition noted that many photographs were taken with equipment that was inaccessible to amateur astronomers many years ago. He added that photographs of people and the night sky are some of the most difficult with point of view of their implementation, but the participants coped with this task just amazing. In the category “Young Astrophotographer of the Year” (“Young Astronomy Photographer of the Year “) won by Jacob von Chorus of Of Canada. The young participant is only 15 years old. The judges were amazed at him snapshot of the Pleiades.
