In 2018, NASA plans to send to the ISS two American astronauts, among whom will be a black woman ex-employee of the CIA Janette Epps, who will become the first African American (as they call in US Blacks) as part of the International Space Station.
According to the US aerospace agency, a native of the city New York State Syracuse Janet Epps to be sent to the ISS in May next year as a flight engineer, she will be part of fifty-sixth expedition under the command of Andrew Feustel (USA). The commander himself will go into orbit in March 2018, first as flight engineer of the fifty-fifth expedition, to then head next ISS command.
