This is almost a real lunar base, but so far located on Earth, and more specifically: a purely Russian Lunar base.
The unique lunodrom is designed to simulate the work of astronauts on Selena’s surface with all the other “lunar parameters,” say unusual attraction for man, rarefied atmosphere, meager lighting and so on.
According to TASS, the lunodrome appeared in the Moscow Region Science City Korolev. This is a purely experimental training ground, however, there is no lunar soil on it, but the Selena relief – please, besides the space base and the magnificent rover rover. What else is needed to work out future manned flights to the moon?
More specifically, the lunodrome was located on College of Space Engineering, which reports to the University of Technology. So far, only metal models that will soon be equipped all kinds of comic equipment – exactly the kind that will simulate the landing of astronauts on the lunar surface. College students can engage in this lunodrome developing new robotics, invent systems life support in Selena, unique means of transportation and much more.

The project of the lunodrom is focused on the Roskosmos program for the development of an artificial Earth satellite. No coincidence chapter corporation Dmitry Rogozin recently even announced that in the coming years, Russia will send a manned satellite to the moon, thanks to which a huge step will be made in space exploration, including dispelled the doubt of many Russians (and not only Russians) that they beat the Americans in Selena …
By the way, with regard to the exploration of the moon, Rogozin emphasized, it’s about creating a long-term base on Earth’s satellite, serving robots. That is, it will be visited, not inhabited station, where avatars will become permanent “inhabitants” of the moon. It’s avatars that will allow large-scale study of the mysterious satellite of the Earth, more responsible and purposeful, not like the American Apollo, which was more like a children’s game. By the way, such a lunar program of the Russian Federation can be feasible together with the BRICS countries, but in the international project around the moon Gateway Russia station will most likely not participate, especially on the sidelines …
