The Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico recorded a radio telescope distinct short bursts of radio emission. Similar phenomenon before observed only at the Parks Observatory in Australia. This was stated Director of the Astronomy Section of the Arecibo Observatory Fernando Camilo. The discovery was made in November 2012, but announced this was only this week. According to Fernando Camilo, in the Australian observatory signals were recorded seven times. However this is the first time that they were captured by another telescope observatory. Therefore, the phenomenon cannot be explained by features the operation of a specific tool. “The main question is what is nature of this phenomenon, “says the scientist.” Apparently, these are powerful bursts of radio emission coming from distant corners of the universe. Such signals were not previously detected. Their source was for the borders of our galaxy, in a place where there are no stars, no others objects that can become sources of radiation. “Pulses managed to determine November 2, 2012. The surge lasted only three thousandths of a second. Australian Observatory signals for the first time recorded in 2007. Scientists believe their source located at a distance of several thousand light years.
