Since it is planned to launch satellites in the future use domestic launch vehicles of the Angara family, Roscosmos is no longer going to buy Ukrainian Zenit, said representative of the space agency of the Russian Federation Igor Burenkov.
Analysts immediately connected this with the aggravation of relations between Russia and Ukraine and the subsequent change of leadership of Roscosmos, which happened last month. After all, the ex-head of the agency Roscosmos Oleg Ostapenko in December last year assured that Russia is not going to change its plans and abandon Dnepropetrovsk missiles.
All this further worsened the deplorable economic situation. Ukrainian enterprise “Yuzhmashzavod”, the production volumes of which in recent years, decreased by four times. Past 2014 and at all became critical for the plant, the current one can turn around – complete collapse. Suffice it to say that the company’s debt is already more than six hundred million hryvnias, of which one hundred forty million – salary debts. Now the factory announced two-month holidays, workers are in shock.
