American specialists track the movement of tens of thousands of objects with a diameter of 10 cm and more, rotating in various orbits around the Earth, writes in confirmation of the words of the assistant secretary of state, the Irish Times newspaper. Taking into account the fact that the minimum speed the object in low Earth orbit is about 28 thousand km / h, even a tiny piece of trash can be serious danger to spacecraft and astronauts on board the International Space Station.
