Evgeny Dmitriev, Russian comet researcher meteorites believes that the study of finds made by the rover Curiosity will help to make a number of fundamental scientific discoveries, related, strange as it may seem, not only with Mars, but also with the nature of comets.

Studying by Dmitriev of pseudo-meteorites falling to Earth (11 falls and 6 finds) and tektites showed that they are in composition and nature of origin, as well as the mechanism of destruction in the atmosphere and the loss of fragments are very different from well-known meteorites. He believes that the studied objects come from comets having eruptive nature of origin. This allowed the scientist to designate a new direction in science called comet meteorics (see “Extraterrestrial life … found on Earth”, TM, No. 3, 2010). At the same time skeletal remains were found in some comet meteorites extraterrestrial primitive marine animals named streamers.
