From the eleventh to the seventeenth of June in the Zhirnovsky district Russian Volgograd region held a major congress, bringing together hundreds of ufologists from all over the former USSR.
The event, entitled “Blue Tract” was a great success, and therefore (the decision is made) will be held here annually now. On the This congress was visited by researchers from Moscow, Volgograd, St. Petersburg, Saratov, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Ukraine, Belarus, Latvia and so on.
The venue was chosen legendary Don-Medveditskaya ridge, towering above the banks of the Medveditsa River. Unidentified flying objects of the most different shapes, dimensions and colors, so the organizers events reasonably felt that such an abnormal place would do for collecting ufologists most of all.
Dono-Medveditskaya ridge is also known for a network of mysterious wide tunnels extending for many kilometers underground, and so called “drunk” groves, where birch trees and other trees for some unknown reason, they are curved and grow at unusual angles.

In addition, there is a hillside with “frantic” lightning on the ridge. Ball lightning, still not really understood by scientists, knocked out here right from the ground and scatter in different directions. Not difficult to guess that this place is considered dangerous, and is not recommended here walk even the most notorious daredevils. However, observe for lightning at a safe distance possible. Sometimes you have to wait many hours or even a day, but the sight is worth it.

The organizers held an exhibition of photo and video materials with images of unidentified flying objects recorded in the vicinity of the Dono-Medveditskaya ridge. At another exhibition were artifacts collected throughout Russia and having relationship with alien civilizations. Some items have extraterrestrial origin, others received any abnormal properties after contact with flying saucers or aliens.
