It’s not a secret for many that our “blue ball” is surrounded today a huge amount of space debris. This giant dump man-made objects there is already quite long time, however, only now she prompted scientists to very interesting assumption: what if the representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations also sin by this? Suddenly around the planets inhabited intelligent aliens, fragments of their companions and spaceships? Desperate to get in touch with the aliens, some experts are ready to consider even such a seemingly unlikely opportunity.
Spanish astronomer Hector Sokas-Navarro from the Institute of Astrophysics Canary Islands has long been observing space debris on Earth orbit. Actually, this specialist’s direct responsibility is the study of the sun, however every year a scientist more and more draws attention to artificial objects and their fragments, preventing the observation of the luminary. Recently, an astronomer came to the unexpected conclusion that technologically advanced green little men “who, like us, have entered the space age, they must also leave belts from their planets space debris. If their garbage, like ours, consists of metal parts, then it should reflect the light of mother stars, and this brilliance could very well be seen from Earth.
Inspired by his idea, Sokas-Navarro conducted a series of experiments, using a ten meter infrared telescope. Despite the fact that the Spaniard has not yet found any space debris, he determined that theoretically this could be done. True for this must pass at least 200 years. The scientist calculated that it is then that our technologies will achieve such a development that allow us to detect metal debris in orbit some distant exoplanet. Now Earth’s telescopes so weak that they cannot distinguish space debris from the natural ring surrounding the potentially inhabited heaven body.
However, ufologists immediately ridiculed Hector’s theory. At first, they believe aliens do not need to be looked for – they have long been here on The earth. Secondly, space debris is a sign of underdevelopment civilization with which earthlings will have to fight sooner or later. And what kind of “green men” can be found in this way? The same, as we are now, that is, there is still little understanding in space and device of the universe, but at the same time very aggressive-minded? AND do we need such contact with the “brothers in reason” even now time, not to mention the passage of 200 years?
