Strange as it may seem, but a survey of UCL specialists (University College London) showed that not all believers the British believe in God and, as a consequence of this, in the afterlife a life.
Almost ten thousand people were interviewed – these are men and women under the age of forty. By the way, women are more likely to believe in life after death and in the Almighty, men are more skeptical in issues of faith and more soberly assess their existence in this real world. About two women believers accounted for one representative of the stronger sex.
But something else surprised scientists. Among the evangelists in the afterlife only seventy percent believe. Among Catholics, even less – only thirty percent. Representatives of the Anglican Church astonished the researchers with their answers: among them they believe in God and in life after death is only sixteen percent of respondents.
Muslims turned out to be the most faithful, almost ninety percent of them do not doubt either the presence of Allah or the fact that man is immortal and after his death will stand trial The Almighty.
