French scientist Jacques Valle, known as an astronomer, astrophysicist, mathematician and programmer, almost from the middle of the last century also engaged in ufological research. From the end sixties he became an ardent opponent of an alien UFO origin.
The UFO phenomenon is not of terrestrial origin
By the nineties, he had formulated five basic arguments, which, on the one hand, prove that the UFO was not born by us terrestrial civilization, and on the other – show that they cannot be only by alien ships:
- firstly, there are too many UFOs, such a huge number of them, observed now throughout the Earth, just do not need to be integrated exploring our physical world;
- secondly, aliens are too humanoid in their appearance – for space travel, as we already know from our own experience, this is not the best option, having a minimum chance of breaking away from your home planet and go to another;
- thirdly, aliens behave in such a way that the theory about their genetic or any other scientific research on people does not stand up to criticism;
- fourthly, UFO, judging by historical chronicles and other facts that have existed on Earth from time immemorial, so this is not a phenomenon our time;
- and finally, they easily manipulate space and time, which allows you to doubt their only alien origin.

Jacques Valle himself adheres, as he said in an interview with American journalist Jeffrey Mishlov, the point of view that UFO – a phenomenon much more complex and at the same time interesting than just ships of aliens that don’t know why flew to our The earth. It is rather a phenomenon that encourages us to study. space and time, to the understanding that our physical world is only a small layer of reality, but because our laws are powerless for understanding UFOs.

The diversity of the UFO phenomenon
Today, continues Jacques Valle, we know much more about UFOs than, say, even ten years ago, not to mention the last century. Therefore, every ufologist in our time must understand that UFOs need considered in complex, that is, clearly delineating the levels of this phenomena:
- the first level can be called physical when we perceive these mysterious objects as something physical, possessing huge energy reserves in a relatively small space;
- the second level is contact, when a person observing a UFO, experiencing physiological and psychological correlations, for example, loses the sense of space and time. Some people at the same time it seems that they are starting to move in the wrong direction, others for a few lived minutes lose hours, or even a day’s time, witnesses can instantly travel long distances, change, that is, acquire superpowers or, conversely, lose memory, and so on;
- the third level is conditionally called social when people perceive UFOs according to their beliefs, knowledge, religious beliefs, level of education, inquiring mind or presence in it shares a lot of skepticism, and therefore it doesn’t even matter if UFOs are real or not. More important is how we relate to them, and what role they play in of our life.

Based on this, the most interesting question arises, says Jacques Vallee, can the UFO phenomenon be just a manipulation of our consciousness, say, for the purpose of a certain training or, conversely, zombies? And in our time, this can be done not only aliens and aliens, but also earthlings themselves, possessing necessary technologies for this.
