In the Romanian city of Brasov in the chapel of the Orthodox Church St. Nicholas, built in 1495, discovered murals with scenes of the Apocalypse. According to the “New Region” with reference to the Romanian edition of News Brasov, in this temple there is a place where for decades there has not been a single tourist. On the walls and the supports of the chapel depict at least 13 scenes from the Apocalypse. One of frescoes, which could not be decrypted earlier, has a striking similarities to shots from contemporary documentaries about predictions for 2012 – with solar flares and with a shift Earth’s magnetic poles. The paintings were made in 1737 icon painter George Keep and his brother Gregory, about which The inscription in Cyrillic confirms the author and the date. The sun in in the middle of which is an equilateral triangle with “all-seeing eye,” directs the deadly rays toward Earth. At this the saints are trying to budge the planet vertically, as as if they want to turn her over. This scene is associated with the theory of changing the magnetic poles of the Earth.

According to the chairman of the local Dacia Foundation, Livia Pandele, the uniqueness of the frescoes lies in the fact that at the time of their writing the Catholic Church has not yet recognized the revolutionary theory of Galileo. Only in 1741 did the Vatican authorize the publication of the scientist’s book and formally recognized that the Earth revolves around the Sun. According to the Romanian publication, the chapel was closed to tourist visits back in the 70s of the last century by by order of the Romanian state security service.
