This is really strange since astronomers have long been proved that even in the space we see, that is, in our the milky way galaxy exists at least 4 thousand exoplanets suitable in about the same organic life like on earth. And all of them in the Universe can be trillions – infinite number.
At a recent, already traditional, meeting in Paris, organized by METI International, researchers in such fields sciences like astrophysics, sociology, biology, history, psychology, not to mention ufology, we discussed the main issues related to this topic or even a problem.
Here’s what METI’s member of directors says about it Co-Chair of the current workshop Florence Raulin Serso:
There are several reasons why contacts are being established with alleged extraterrestrial civilizations: – they just don’t touch us because it can negatively affect on the development of earthly society; – they are watching us, as in a zoo or nursery, studying and discreetly tossing certain installation in the form of all kinds of problems; – our signals into space with the goal of finding brothers for reason for these reasons is simply meaningless, they are ignored by those who follow us; -extraterrestrial intelligence may be very different from ours, and therefore, contact with him is either premature or impossible at all; – it is quite acceptable that human society on Earth is just an experiment from highly developed galactic races or some form of universal migration, but because we just don’t know all the tasks that confront us, and therefore our efforts making contact with aliens looks naive.
Fully agreeing with a colleague, METI President Douglas Vakoch emphasized at the same time that in any situation we should not be passive, one must vividly show oneself in search of such contacts. Imagine that you come to the zoo and all the animals there like that or else they look into your eyes, and you even think that in some of them slips a rational thought. But if at the same time, for example, a zebra will begin to repel a series of numbers, even the simplest ones, with its hoof certainly surprise and even delight you and move you to some scientific steps. This is the case in our case, in the matter of search contacts with aliens, who must sooner or later understand that we are not only reasonable, but also able to find ways to prove this, thereby predetermining and foreshadowing the coveted links between civilizations of different levels of development.
