Norwegian scientists send a radio message to the planetary system, where theoretically intelligent life can exist. Single Leighten’s star in the constellation Lesser Dog and two revolving around her exoplanets are located approximately 12.36 light years from us, therefore, if the alleged brothers in reason receive our message and immediately answer it, this answer will reach Earth at least in 25 years.
Communication with hypothetical alien targets is not the sole purpose of this project. Specialists First intend to lay the technical foundation for communication with aliens in future. American explorer of extraterrestrial civilizations Douglas Vakoch, who helps the Norwegians, says that this procedure will need to be repeated millions of times in order to give humanity a real chance to make contact with the “green men”. However, assuming that the universe is indeed infinite, such a chance may be null and void. But it’s still worth a try.

For sending, the authors of the project selected 33 short musical compositions and a large amount of information about mathematics, trigonometry, geometry and other earth sciences. Data transferred to binary code and sent to space through a 32-meter 1.5 megawatt Norwegian EISCAT antennas. No doubt researchers chose the star of Leyten because she is closest to us, around which can rotate inhabited by living creatures exoplanets. There are other planetary systems of this type, but if the answer comes from there, the current scientists just won’t live that happy day.
A message for aliens who have long been on Earth
Recall that similar messages were sent to aliens earlier. And every time in the world heated debate broke out. Does it have a handful of scientists the right to turn to an alien civilization on behalf of all of humanity? Is it wise to do this? All of a sudden aliens will be aggressive and, having learned about us, will fly enslave our race? One of such skeptics, by the way, is famous English astrophysicist Stephen Hawking. According to the eminent scientist, we can be savages in the eyes of aliens, and their meeting with us can be very similar to meeting spanish conquistadors with Native Americans during the conquest of America.

However, ufologists and conspiracy therapists generally surprise shoulders: aliens have long been on Earth, possibly since dinosaurs, and we all send some weird radio signals to space for communication with them. Is that a distraction or wide public or our orthodox scholars are so divorced from lives that exist in their own, some kind of illusory world “impenetrable materialism”? ..
