Around our planet dozens of satellites launched from all sorts of research and scientific goals. However there is Among them there is one which no state claims. AND in general, there is a suspicion that they did not do it on Earth.

In 1958, the American amateur astronomer Steve Slayton, the owner of a 20-inch telescope, watching the moon, noticed on her the background of a certain object. The heavenly body quickly crossed the lunar disk and gone. Slayton concluded that the object was black and therefore, against the background of the dark sky we do not observe. Astronomer made calculations and tried to determine when the object will again be in the background The moon.
In the calculated time, an object appeared in a certain Slayton point. After observing the body, Steve determined its diameter (about 10 meters) and flight altitude (1-2 thousand km. above the Earth). Too high speed and a strange trajectory pushed him to conclude that the artificial origin of the object, which he told the press.
In 1958, only two countries launched satellites: the USSR and the USA. However, those in a hurry to announce to the world about each new achievement in neither the USSR nor the USA recognized the discovered heavenly race his body. US military asked Slayton characteristics of the orbit and soon stated that not a single no radar station found.
Offended amateur astronomer invited reporters to the telescope and they watched with their own eyes a satellite that military astrophysicists with all their equipment they can’t find. The press mocked the military. Amateur astronomer plugged into a NASA belt!
But the radars of the USSR and the USA are still not an object found, although scientists observed it visually against the background of the lunar or solar disk.
Sputnik becomes “Black Prince”
The secrets of the satellite multiplied. The military said that Slayton rather total observed meteorite. All missiles are launched in the direction of rotation planets to overcome gravity. A discovered Slayton object rotates in the opposite direction. therefore it cannot be an artificial satellite launched from Earth. And then for the first time the assumption was made that the satellite could be made and not on Earth.

In 1974, Soviet science fiction writer A. Kazantsev in a novel The Faets were described by the alien satellite Black Prince, rotating around the Earth. The novel has been translated into several languages. Title the satellite immediately stuck to the celestial object. So he got name.
The find of Gorky radiophysicists
After 20 years, Gorky radiophysicists tested what they created supersensitive equipment that allows you to determine the temperature celestial bodies. During testing, an object with temperature over 200 degrees Celsius. It was the “Black Prince”, which now has one riddle more.
In 1991, American scientist Tom Erickson tried to explain invisibility of the “Black Prince” for radar systems. By his version of the body is covered with a layer of graphite absorbing radio waves. Neither to confirm or refute this assumption is not yet possible. The invisibility of the “Black Prince” remains a mystery.

In 1998, astronauts of the American shuttle ship Endeavor SNS-88 saw the “Black Prince” with their own eyes and took his pictures. Having studied them, scientists carefully concluded that these are fragments of artificial origin.

The scientific world is not yet ready to recognize the “Black Prince” as a satellite extraterrestrial civilization, it is not clear what purpose is watching our the planet. And indeed, sufficient grounds for such a bold no assumption.
So while around the Earth flies it is unclear what took it is not clear where. Not a single secret has yet been revealed. And even if agree that the “Black Prince” is really just a chip spaceship, the question remains open: which ship?
