Once Arthur Conan Doyle left for a while his famous detective and created the novel “Marakotova abyss”, which described the possibility of the existence of an underwater civilization on Earth, developing in parallel with ours – the heiress of the sunken Atlantis.
Underwater civilization
Recall that the ocean takes up much of our planet, rather than land. If we imagine that our planet is a multi-room apartment, then to humanity a “warrant was issued” for the most modest little room.
… In 1951, the Soviet Pacific anti-submarine ships managed to drive the fleet into the bay and throw deep bombs unidentified underwater facility (NGO). Fantastic Nautilus then surfaced and at a fantastically high speed he left the persecution.
Contact cases of naval sailors and submarines so many unknown origin that all of them are impossible considered fiction. There are several versions regarding the origin and essence of unidentified underwater objects.

According to the first version, initially intelligent civilization formed in the oceans of the planet, and earthlings are her descendants who came out (or expelled?) to the land, but forgot about this one.
The second version says that deep-sea civilization developed on our planet in parallel with terrestrial civilization and reached at this greater perfection. It is likely that this is part civilization that went under water after the so-called universal flood and retaining more ancient knowledge. Remaining on land Earthlings had to start all over again.
And finally, the third – alien – version says that in the depths Oceans have posted their ships and observation bases space civilizations, because there are more spacious and practically uninhabited.
Houses in the depths of the ocean
Since the 60s of the last century, mankind has been attracted deep space and ocean depths. But if at first in space only the Soviet Union and the United States took part in the race Of America, then in the depths of the ocean English still sought French, Czechoslovak, Bulgarian and Cuban researchers.
France took the leading place in aquanautics – thanks to his famous pioneer of the deep ocean Jacques-Yves Cousteau. FROM 1962 Cousteau led a series of experiments called “The Continent.” The task was to prove the possibility of a long living people in the depths.

In 1965, in England, a test of the Glockes underwater house was conducted. The following year, Czechoslovak experts conducted test of the underwater house “Permon-3”. In the 67th Bulgarians built and tested underwater research laboratory Hebros.
The Americans did not lag behind: in 1969 they made deep-water laboratory Tektite, and in 1971 on the 177-meter in the depths worked “Iger” – an underwater house-laboratory.
In 1968, the Institute of Oceanology of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Chernoe the sea was lowered underwater platform “Black Sea”, weighing 55 tons. Within a month, 28 aquanauts worked and lived in it in shifts.
Taboo
As you can see, many states sought to explore the ocean depths in order to resettle their citizens there in the future. Suddenly, as if obeying some order, all the countries of the world have lost interest in the ocean. This happened in the mid 70s of the past. century.
No one else remembered the underwater colonies of mankind, as if there were none. Experimental laboratories and underwater houses or dismantled, or even left at the bottom. In December The 1982 UN Convention, which states that permanent residence people in depth is prohibited.
It seems that someone has labeled humanity actual “living space” on our planet. In that case, Arthur Conan Doyle described events more real than we think…
